Geraldine Feder, nee LaBok, 92; beloved wife, best friend and soulmate of the late Howard Feder for 71 wonderful years; loving mother of Steve (Amy) and Rob (Randi); adored grandma of Tyler, Cody, Spencer (Sean) Gibbons, Alex and Seth; cherished sister of Vivian Mitchel; proud aunt and dear cousin of many; and, devoted friend to all. Gerry loved art, adventures with her beloved Howie, and her family most of all. Chapel Service Friday 2:00 PM, at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) or the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org). I am so sorry for the loss of your Dear Loved One, Gerry Feder.
Gerry and I were classmates years ago in an Art History class at
Barat College in Lake Forest. Often, after class, we would have lunch
together in the Cafeteria and chat about art, our lives and families.

I so admired Gerry for her kindness, humor, intelligence, wisdom and
devotion to her family. I transferred to another college to finish my degree
but through the years after, we would see one another around town or in the
Post Office. Gerry was always so welcoming and happy.
It was a joy to have known Gerry Feder, a very lovely Lady.
Rest in Peace.
